Why saree is so popular in India?

India is one of the most cultured country in all over the world.

The citizens live very cultured life. That is the main reason that most of women wear Sarees here.

Saree is a female garment from the Indian subcontinent that consists of a drape varying from five to nine yards (4.5 metres to 8 metres) in length and two to four feet (60 cm to 1.20 m) in breadth that
is typically wrapped around the waist, with one end draped over the shoulder, baring the midriff.

There are different types of sarees in India. Like : Silk Sarees, Cotton Sarees, Banarasi sarees, jaipur sarees, banarasi sarees, aariwork sarees, kalamkari saree, kanchpuram Silk saree etc.

The most popular city in India for sarees is Kanchipuram which is located very close to Chennai, the capital of Tamil Nadu.

Not only in India, but other countries are also adopting this culture. As girls look too much preety in Indian Cloths.
